The Executive Summary must be two to five pages in length, and contain the following information:

• Company description – contact information, business purpose, overall strategy & objectives, company history & current status, and corporate structure.
• Company solutions (products/services) – the problem being solved, primary benefits of your solutions, differentiation from major competitors, Intellectual Property (trademarks, patents, trade secrets) and relevant regulatory issues.
• Marketing strategy – overall target market (size, trends, growth), market strategy (strategy to establish market share, channels, partners,) unique company strengths, and summary of major competitors (market position, strengths, weaknesses).
• Management – backgrounds on key individuals (expertise, management experience, entrepreneurial experience), personnel needs (short term and longer term) and list members of Board of Directors or Advisory Board (and their backgrounds).
• Financials – expenses, revenue and income projections for the next 3 to 5 years (justify projections), financial history (if available), history of capital raised, additional funding requirements (when, how much and why), and potential exit strategies.
